It’s heartbreaking to see how racism seems to be re-emerging so strongly in our world today. Whether it’s through subtle prejudice, open hostility, or the quiet divisions we allow in our hearts, racism continues to sow hatred where love should be. Yet, as followers of Christ, we are called to something higher — to love as He loves and see as He sees.
When Jesus walked the earth, He broke barriers of race, class, and status. He spoke to the Samaritan woman (John 4:7–26), healed the servant of a Roman centurion (Matthew 8:5–13), and praised the faith of a Canaanite woman (Matthew 15:21–28). In a time when Jews and Gentiles were deeply divided, Jesus made it clear that the kingdom of God is for everyone.

The truth is simple: Jesus doesn’t see colour of our skin. He sees hearts.
He doesn’t divide by race but unites us through His blood.
“There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
— Galatians 3:28 (NIV)
Racism has no place in the heart of a believer. When we look down on someone because of the colour of their skin, we reject the very image of God in them. Every person — regardless of background, ethnicity, or culture — was fearfully and wonderfully made by the same Creator.
“From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth.”
— Acts 17:26 (NIV)“But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers.”
— James 2:9 (NIV)
And we must remember: the entire world belongs to God. No nation, tribe, or race can claim superiority over another, because everything and everyone ultimately belongs to Him.
“The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.”
— Psalm 24:1
The rise of racism today reminds us how much the world needs Jesus. Laws can’t change hearts — only the love of God can. As believers, we must be the light in this darkness. Let’s choose to see people through God’s eyes, not through the lens of culture or prejudice.
“The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”
— 1 Samuel 16:7 (NIV)
When we love one another as Christ commanded, we reflect the beauty of heaven — a place where every tribe, tongue, and nation worship together in unity (Revelation 7:9). That’s the vision God has for His people: not division, but diversity in harmony.

So, let’s make it personal.
Ask yourself: Am I seeing others through love or through bias?
Am I building walls or bridges?
The world is watching how we live out our faith. Let’s be living testimonies of God’s inclusive love — a love that transcends race, culture, and background.
Because in the eyes of Jesus, there is no colour — only His creation, redeemed and loved.
At the end of the day everyone would stand before God.
After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. (Revelation 7:9)
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, there is so much hate and chaos in the world. Please let your love flow and let’s live together in peace and harmony, in Jesus name. Amen.
