‘Who am I?’ and ‘what is my purpose in life?’ These are some of questions we would all ask ourselves at one point in our lifetime—Who I was? Who am I now? Who will I become? At a point in my life, I have struggled with knowing my self worth and my identity in Christ. I just believed whatever lies came to my head about who I am. I know I’m not the only one who struggles or struggled with a self worth or identity issue.

We’re living in a world suffering from an identity crisis but knowing where you are in Christ is really important because you’re a child of God.
After giving your life over to Jesus and knowing about God’s love for you, what’s next? Discovering who you are now!
You need to know who you are to be able to fulfill your calling. You need to know that you’re a fellow citizen with God’s people and members of his household and your foundation is built on the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus himself as a cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20). God loves you. You’re redeemed to flourish in Christ Jesus. You’re seated in heavenly places far above principalities and powers, you an heir of God and joint heirs with Christ. You have authority over the devil and his agents (Ephesians 1:20-21). You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21).

You are an ambassador of Christ, you are God’s masterpiece created in Christ Jesus to fulfill every good work.“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10
You are loved beyond measure by our Lord Jesus Christ. You have power over Satan, power over the enemy and there’s nothing by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). You are saved by Grace. You don’t need to fear because perfect love casts out fear and the love of God is rooted in your heart. You don’t have to attain the human standard of perfection. You don’t have to get it right at once. You don’t have to be defined by your past or present, you just have to know that God loves you and he has a good plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). That is who you are. You have the Holy Spirit living inside of you. The Holy Spirit has made Your heart his home.

When you walk and in your identity in Christ. Even when the devil comes with lies you know who you are and understand that you are unmovable always abounding in the work of the Lord. It’s so sweet to trust in Jesus, it’s really sweet—It is the best life, walking in Dominion, walking in love and yet walking in power day by day.
I encourage you today and always, please work in fulfillment of your identity in Christ Jesus.
Prayer.
